Founded in 1986, as Agriteam Canada, Alinea International has successfully delivered more than 500 projects worldwide – in agriculture and food security; education and education reform; governance and public sector reform; economic growth and livelihoods; health; gender equality; legal and judicial reform; peace and security; and environment and climate change. During these 34 years, they have designed, implemented, managed, monitored and evaluated international development projects for Global Affairs Canada, the Department for International Development (UK), the European Commission, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australia), the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nations, among others.
In implementing projects, they attach great importance to, and provide appropriate expertise in, institutional strengthening, capacity building, gender equality, social welfare, environmental awareness and participatory methodologies. They use in-house specialists and leading international professionals to provide the technical and management skills required to achieve the required project impacts.
