British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.
We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives.

Our Advocacy Work

Every day, at all levels within our organisation, the British Red Cross is advocating on behalf of those in crisis, and working to improve the humanitarian situation of individuals, families and communities.
Corporate advocacy plays a crucial role in increasing awareness of the conditions of vulnerable people and those affected by conflicts and disasters around the world.

We advocate based on our knowledge and experiences, speaking out for a positive change to the lives of the people we seek to help, but also empowering individuals to communicate on matters that affect them.
