IECD is a French development organization. With its partners, it constructs environments that allow every person to reveal their talents, build a better future, and become a responsible actor in his/her country.
IECD conducts 45 projects in 15 countries. It operates in subsaharian Africa, the MENA region, Madagascar and Southeast Asia. The organization aspires to enable the youth, adults, professionals and development actors to acquire the necessary know-how to build up their future and have a positive impact on society. In 25 years, IECD has developed a renowned expertise in vocational training & professional integration, support to small enterprises and access to education and health care for vulnerable persons.

What They Do

IECD structures its activity around three main fields of work: vocational training and professional integration, support to small enterprises and access to education and health care for vulnerable persons. Each field of work includes several programs, through which IECD has been developing a renowned expertise as well as innovative actions which respond to a local need.

IECD engages with the local population over the long run. Its projects are primarily aimed at those who need it the most. Particular attention is given to the youth and women, who have a strong impact on development.

IECD works in close collaboration with local organizations, with whom it builds sustainable relationships. Partners participate in the implementation of projects in the field, and IECD contributes to their institutional, financial and organizational reinforcement.
