About the Consultancy
The Fiji Department of Transport Planning has requested for the development of a revised Transport Sector Master Plan. The objective of the assignment is to develop the masterplan that will establish,
· a roadmap to deliver the final goal of the transport sector – land, aviation and maritime,
· provide a flexible and achievable guide for future planning and development, and
· outline long-term growth and development for the transport sector – land, aviation and maritime.
Objectives of the consultancy
This consultancy is to provide assistance to the Fiji Department of Transport Planning to
(1) Examine opportunities to enhance the maritime transport sub-sector,
(2) Examine current status and future needs of the land transport sub-sector,
(3) Review the aviation transport sub-sector and
(4) Assessing alternative transport modes
This consultancy is being delivered under the Climate Finance Capacity Support Programme which seeks to support Pacific Island governments to deliver their climate change priorities.

About the Climate Finance Capacity Support Programme
DT Global delivers the Capacity Support Programme for MFAT. The scope of this programme is quite broad as its aim is to be responsive to the needs of Pacific Island countries. It includes providing personnel or training to assist with:
· delivering and reporting on the flexible finance provided by MFAT;
· developing/updating national climate change plans and reporting frameworks;
· developing an investment-ready pipeline of projects;
· delivering climate change priorities;
· improving climate finance reporting; and
· accessing a broader range of climate finance funding.
